The Foundation for Polish Science is now accepting applications for Alexander von Humboldt Polish Honorary Research Scholarship to study in Poland. German scientists are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
The program is aimed at eminent German scientists with the highest qualifications and significant contributions to global research.
The Foundation for Polish Science has been in operation since 1991. It is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit institution which pursues the mission of supporting science. It is the largest source of science funding in Poland outside of the state budget.

Scholarship Award for Research Scholarship:
- The research stay (from 3 – 6 months) may be split into several periods over three years. At present, the amount awarded as fellowship is 4000 € per month.
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Scholarships are awarded to outstanding German scholars with the highest qualifications and a significant contribution to global research, as recognition for their previous research achievements and in order to permit them to conduct scientific research at a selected institution in Poland.
Nationality: German scientists are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
