Benefits for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships:

    • 50% or 100% of tuition fees will be awarded.
    • Nationality: To be considered for the 50% scholarships applicants must be a national of one of the following countries: USA, India, Malaysia, South Africa, Kenya, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria and Morocco. To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must be a national of one of the following countries: USA, India.
    • Number of Scholarships: Up to 14 scholarships are available. There are twelve 50% tuition fee scholarships and two 100% scholarships.
    • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

    • be assessed as international for fee purposes
    • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2018/19 academic year

    Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.

    100% tuition fees:

    To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

    • be a national of one of the following countries: USA, India
    • be assessed as international for fee purposes
    • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2018/19 academic year

    Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.

    English Language Requirements Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships:  If English is not applicant’s first language they will need to provide a recognized English language test or qualification. In most cases, you will need an overall score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. Students will also need at least IELTS 5.5 or equivalent in each of the four sub-skills:

    • Writing
    • Reading
    • Speaking
    • Listening
