The aim of this scholarships is to enable and encourage academically able students.

|Field of Study||:||Studentships are awarded in Additive Manufacturing Engineering of Metal Alloys. The Research topics proposed are in the area of metallic materials for medical products. These are areas of competence for Ulster University.
Award for Ulster University PhD Scholarships:
The studentships comprise of full fees and an annual stipend of £14,553. Studentships will be awarded on a full-time basis for a three-year period, subject to satisfactory progress being made towards the degree of the Doctor of Philosophy.
Eligibility for Ulster University PhD Scholarships:
- The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Applications will be considered on a competitive basis with regard to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and interests. Candidates should hold, or expect to hold, a first class or upper second-class honours degree (as a minimum) in Engineering, Science, or a cognate discipline. The admission process and programme of study will proceed according to Ulster University regulations and requirements.
