Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems is delighted to offer IFISC (CSIC-UIB) Masters Degree in Physics Scholarships Mobility Grants for international students. The grants are aimed to those students who wish to pursue the Master in Physics of Complex Systems at the University of the Balearic Islands during the academic course 2017-2018.
IFISC (Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems) is a joint research institute of the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) created in 2007. Its mission is to develop Cross-Disciplinary and Strategic Research in complex systems following the established scientific approach of physicists.

The scholarship will amount a total of € 6,000 (six thousand euros), in two instalments: € 2,000 at the beginning of the first semester, after the student has actually enrolled in the master and € 4,000 at the beginning of the second semester. The scholarship is aimed at covering all or part of the costs of travel and living (including the cost of food and accommodation) detailed in the application of the selected students.

CSIC offers JAE-INTRO grants (2000 €) open to those who have scored a minimum of 7.8/10 in the bachelor’s degree.
International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

English language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
